REPAIR
Repair to emergency generator switchboard is by replacement meters (1, 2, 4, and
6, FIGURE 2-219), light lenses (3, 7, and 11), rheostat (8), rotary switches (9,
10, 12, 13, and 14), and incandescent lamps.
Assembly of replacement components refer to paragraph 2-291.
Set 240 VOLT GROUND TEST (14, FIGURE 2-219) to TEST position.
a.
Three 240V GROUND DETECTION LIGHTS (7) remain lit.
b.
NOTE
If an indicator dims or goes out it
indicates a ground fault condition.
Set 240 VOLT GROUND TEST (14) to NORMAL position.
c.
Set 120V GROUND DETECTION SWITCH (9) to TEST position.
d.
Three 120V GROUND DETECTION LIGHTS (7) remain lit.
