STEP 1. Check for defective defrost timer.

Replace defrost timer, (para. 3-80).

26. Freezer does not cool.

STEP 1. Check refrigerant pressure at service valve connects.

If pressure is low, replace compressor, (para. 3-77).

STEP 2. Check for defective condenser fan motor.

Replace defective fan motor, (para. 3-77).

STEP 3. Check for defective evaporator fan motor.

ELECTRIC RANGE

27. Oven not heating.

STEP 1. Check for defective thermostatic switch.

Replace thermostatic switch (para. 3-60).

28. Drive motor runs but ram does not move.

STEP 1. Check for broken drive chain.

Replace drive chain (para. 3-83).

STEP 2. Check drive socket roll pin sheared.

Replace roll pin (para. 3-83).

STEP 4. With multimeter, check directional switch.
