DISASSEMBLY

Refer to removal procedures in paragraph 3-17 .

REPAIR

Repair of vertical gear assembly consists of replacing preformed packing (5), bushing (7), grooved ball

bearing (9), worm spindle (10), gasket (16), cylindrical spring (17), spherical plain bearing (19), annular

ball bearing (12).

ASSEMBLY

Refer to replacement procedures in paragraph 3-17 .
