WARNING

Make sure the coolant temperature is below 120 (50 ) before disconnecting lines.

CAUTION

Operation of the heater without coolant in the heater will cause the element to fail. Coolant mixtures containing

excessive amounts of antifreeze can damage element. Refer to TB 55-1900-207-24 for additive and antifreeze

requirements.

REMOVAL

WARNING

Make sure electrical power is OFF to the engine coolant heater. Refer to TM 55-1905-223-10.
