u. Remove ball bearing (14) from
power driven shaft (3) as
follows:
1.
Insert two split plates
around the driven shaft
between the bearing.
Then, support the driven
shaft, bearing and split
plates on two steel
supports on the bed of a
hydraulic press as shown
below.
2.
Place wood blocks under
the lower end of the
driven shaft to ensure the
shaft will not fall and be
damaged when pressed from
the bearing.
3.
Bring the ram of the press
down on the end of the
driven shaft and force the
shaft out of the bearing.
