( 9 ) Inspect the bottom fabric for worn areas that should receive protective patches.
Mark these areas with the silver pen.
( 10 ) Raise the bow, free the self-bailers, and allow the water to drain from the craft.
( 11 ) Corrective maintenance should be performed by unit maintenance. Leaks in
the transom will be performed by direct support maintenance.
