CAUTION
Compress the piston ring with
ring compressor (326592).
Do not use an automotive
type ring compressor. Be sure
each piston goes back into the
correct cylinder. Be sure the
intake side of the piston de-
flector is toward the intake
part.
10. Pistons and connecting
Coat with oil and install
rod assemblies
in cylinder block.
11. Connecting rod
Remove.
bearing caps.
NOTE
Be sure both upper and lower
main bearings seat in their
locating dowels in the cylin-
der block.
12. Crankshaft
Position in cylinder block
with connecting rod bear-
ings against crankshaft
journals.
