EQUIPMENT CHARACTERISTICS, CAPABILITIES, AND FEATURES
Characteristics. The IBC is made up of a steel frame, front and rear stanchions, IBC rollers, front and rear pads or
rollers, boat bumper guards (fenders), boat load binders, bail bar, frame skid plate, removable skid plate, transport
locking tabs, and boat tie-down cables or ratchet straps. For a detailed explanation of support equipment
characteristics, capabilities, and features, refer to TM 9-2320-435-10 or TM 9-2320-425-10 for CBT features, TM
5-1940-277-10 for the bridge boat, or TM 9-2330-385-10 for the PLS trailer.
Constructed of steel.
Can be transported on CBT or PLS trailer.
Can launch and retrieve a bridge erection boat, models MK2 and M2R from CBT.
