1.
Cranking cycle is too short (Cont).
Step 4.
Check for accumulator precharge too low.
Open the bypass valve on the hand pump to discharge oil from the accumulator.
Install a gaging assembly on the accumulator air valve. If precharge is less than
1500 psi (2034 kPa) add nitrogen. Make sure pre- charge holds by testing for
nitrogen leakage. Refer to table 3-37.
