b. Back out the buffer screw (3)
until it extends approximately
5/8 inch (1.5785 cm) from the
locknut (4).
c.
Start engine and loosen the
idle speed adjusting screw
locknut (5), and adjust the
idle screw (6) to obtain the
desired idle speed. Hold
the screw and tighten the
locknut to retain the
adjustment (550 rpm).
d. Stop the engine, and remove
the governor cover (7), and
lever assembly. Remove the
valve rocker cover.
e. Remove fuel rod (8) from the
differential lever (9), and
injector control tube lever.
