Dry cleaning solvent, P-D-680, used to clean parts, is potentially dangerous to personnel
and property. Avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact. Do not use near open flame or
excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100138 (385C).

in cleaning solvent Federal Specification
PD-680, and dry thoroughly.
INSPECTION

a. Inspect springs for loss of tension,
distortion, or broken coils.
b. Inspect valve spools, plunger,
and spring follower for 'nicks,
or burrs.
c. Inspect valve spools, plunger,
and spring follower for nicks, or
burrs.
REPAIR
5.
a. Replace all packings and gaskets.
b. Replace other defective parts as
required.
c. Remove burrs or nicks using crocus
cloth.
