WARNING
Before attempting any
maintenance task on the
generator set, make sure the
generator is off-line. Make
sure the engine is shut OFF and
that the automatic starting
circuits on engine are disabled
to avoid injury to personnel.
Clean the exterior of the
generator housing and terminal
box.
a. Use a rag or soft brush
(non-metallic).
b.
Vacuum if possible.
Voltage
Clean dust from electrical
Regulator
terminals and casing on voltage
regulator.

Use a soft bristle
nonmetallic brush or vacuum
cleaner.
b.
Check all leads to regulator
for tightness after cleaning.
