(5) Continue tracing to nearest manually operated shutoff valve (9).
( 6 ) Close shutoff valve (9).
Remove fitting from piping.

Clean up spills immediately. Spills create
an unsafe working area.
(1) Position pail to catch spillage.
(2) Separate outlet piping (5) by holding tail piece (7) of union (6) and
turning collar (8) counterclockwise.
(3) Disconnect union (6) from pipe (5).
(4) Remove outlet piping (5) from tee (4).
(5) Remove tee (4) from inlet piping (3).
(6) Remove coupling (2) from inlet piping (3).
