TROUBLESHOOTING
6-1.  INTRODUCTION. This chapter contains all instructions and information necessary for unit
maintenance personnel to locate malfunctions and to conduct tests on components of the IAB. Table 6-1
lists fault symptoms, their probable causes, and the test or corrective action to be applied. Where a test is
required, the test will confirm or eliminate a component as the cause of the problem. The results of the
test will indicate the corrective action to be applied. Corrective maintenance should be accomplished by a
certified repair facility.
6-2.  FAULT ISOLATION PROCEDURES. Fault isolation procedures are provided in table 6-1. When
using table 6-1, investigate probable causes and perform the corrective action or test in the order listed.
