To ensure that IBC (Figure 5, Item 2) runners engage LHS rear rollers (Figure 5, Item 23), steer vehicle (Figure
5, Item 6) straight under the IBC (Figure 5, Item 2) as the IBC (Figure 5, Item 2) rises.
20.
Set HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 5, Item 13) to ON position.
CAUTION
If keel touches ground, stop loading operations and reposition keel bump protector. Failure
to comply may result in damage to equipment.
21.
Move joystick (Figure 5, Item 14) to LOAD.
22.
Pull out PARKING BRAKE control (Figure 5, Item 7) when IBC runners engage LHS rear rollers (Figure 5, Item
23) and the IBC clears the ground.
WARNING
When NO TRANSIT indicator is illuminated, vehicle may be maneuvered in the immediate
vicinity of the loading/unloading site. However, vehicle is unsafe for road travel. Do not
perform open-road driving when NO TRANSIT indicator is illuminated. Failure to comply may
result in serious injury or death to personnel and damage to equipment.

Release joystick (Figure 5, Item 14) when LHS hook (Figure 5, Item 15) is fully stowed and NO TRANSIT
indicator light (Figure 5, Item 24) goes out.
24.
Set HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 5, Item 13) to OFF position.
CAUTION
While maneuvering the vehicle in the immediate vicinity of the loading or unloading site, LHS
MODE SELECT switch may be in any setting. However, the LHS MODE SELECT switch
must be set to OFF/TRANSPORT prior to road travel. Failure to comply may result in damage
to main frame and hook arm cylinders.
25.
Turn LHS MODE SELECT switch (Figure 5, Item 10) to OFF.
26.
Set PTO ENGAGE switch (Figure 5, Item 11) to OFF position. Indicator light (Figure 5, Item 12) will go out.
27.
Stow keel bumper protector (Figure 5, Item 20) on IBC.
28.
Inspect IBC (Figure 6, Item 2) to ensure two transport locking tabs (Figure 6, Item 25) are engaged in vehicle
frame (Figure 6, Item 26) and bail bar (Figure 6, Item 16) is securely in LHS hook (Figure 6, Item 15).
