Back up vehicle while steering as necessary to align tip of LHS hook (Figure 4, Item 15) under IBC bail bar
(Figure 4, Item 16). Stop vehicle.
NOTE
Ensure tip of LHS hook is slightly below and in line with middle of IBC bail bar.
14.
Set transmission range selector (Figure 4, Item 9) to N (neutral), and apply service brake pedal (Figure 4, Item
8).
NOTE
If LHS hook and IBC bail bar are not properly engaged, move vehicle away from the IBC and
repeat Steps (11) and (13).
15.
Move joystick (Figure 4, Item 14) to LOAD until LHS hook (Figure 4, Item 15) engages IBC bail bar (Figure 4,
Item 16).
16.
Install bail bar lock (Figure 4, Item 17) on LHS hook (Figure 4, Item 15) with pin (Figure 4, Item 18) and lock
pin (Figure 4, Item 19).
CAUTION
Dragging the IBC on the ground may cause damage to the boat keel. To prevent keel damage,
place keel bump protector between ground and keel. Failure to comply may result in damage
to equipment.
17.
Place keel bumper protector (Figure 5, Item 20), stowed on IBC, between keel (Figure 5, Item 21) and ground
approximately 16-18 inches (40.64-45.72 cm) from front of push knees (Figure 5, Item 22).
