Replace straight pin (Figure 1, Item 3) into pocket (Figure 1, Item 4) and secure with ring pin (Figure 1, Item
2).

Back up vehicle (Figure 2, Item 7) into the water. Do not exceed deep water fording depth of vehicle, 48 inches
(122 cm). Refer to TM 9-2320-435-10 or TM 9-2320-425-10.

Dashboard parking brake indicator will illuminate when PARKING BRAKE control is applied.

Pull out PARKING BRAKE control (Figure 3, Item 8).
