CAUTION
When selecting any LHS operating mode with the LHS MODE SELECT switch, the engine
must be at low idle speed. Selection of any LHS operating mode with HIGH IDLE switch ON
may result in the sudden application hydraulic pressure to the LHS. Failure to comply may
result in damage to the equipment.
6.
Set PTO ENGAGE switch (Figure 3, Item 9) to ON position. Indicator light (Figure 3, Item 10) will illuminate.

Turn LHS MODE SELECT switch (Figure 3, Item 11) to AUTO SEQUENCE position.
8.
Turn HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 3, Item 12) to ON position.

Hold joystick (Figure 3, Item 13) in UNLOAD position to unload the IBC (Figure 3, Item 4) until the boat (Figure
3, Item 5) floats.
10.
Boat crew will undo load binder cables (Figure 3, Item 14) and stow them on the A-Frame brackets (Figure 3,
Item 15).

Once the boat (Figure 3, Item 5) is clear of the IBC (Figure 3, Item 4), hold the joystick (Figure 3, Item 13) in
LOAD position until the IBC (Figure 3, Item 4) is fully loaded onto the vehicle.

Turn the HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 3, Item 12) to the OFF position.

Set PTO ENGAGE switch (Figure 3, Item 9) to OFF position. Indicator light (Figure 3, Item 10) will go out.
14.
Place the transmission range selector (Figure 3, Item 6) in D (drive), push in PARKING BRAKE control (Figure
3, Item 1), and pull vehicle (Figure 3, Item 7) forward. Refer to TM 9-2320-435-10 or TM 9-2320-425-10.
15.
Place the transmission range selector (Figure 3, Item 6) in N (neutral) and pull out PARKING BRAKE control
(Figure 3, Item 1).
16.
Inspect the IBC (Figure 4, Item 4) to ensure the transport locking tabs (Figure 4, Item 16) are engaged in
transport frame (Figure 4, Item 17), the bail bar (Figure 4, Item 18) is secured in the hook arm (Figure 4, Item
19), and the two load binders (Figure 4, Item 14) are secured in their storage position on the A-Frame brackets
(Figure 4, Item 15).
