CAUTION
Do not position PTO ENGAGE switch to ON with HIGH IDLE switch ON. Engaging the
PTO with HIGH IDLE switch ON may result in sudden application of hydraulic pressure
to the LHS. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
PTO ENGAGE switch must be positioned OFF before road transport. Failure to comply
may result in damage to equipment.
7.
Set PTO ENGAGE switch (Figure 3, Item 9) to ON. Indicator light (Figure 3, Item 10) will illuminate.
8.
Set HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 3, Item 11) to ON.
9.
Move joystick (Figure 3, Item 12) to UNLOAD until LHS hook arm (Figure 3, Item 13) has moved just below
level of IBC bail bar (Figure 3, Item 14).
10.
Set HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 3, Item 11) to OFF.
NOTE
Dashboard parking brake indicator will go out when PARKING BRAKE control is released.

Push in PARKING BRAKE control (Figure 3, Item 1) or release service brake pedal (Figure 3, Item 2).
12.
Set transmission range selector (Figure 3, Item 3) to R (reverse) and back up vehicle until LHS hook arm
(Figure 3, Item 13) contacts IBC bail bar (Figure 3, Item 14).

Set transmission range selector (Figure 3, Item 3) to N (neutral).
14.
Pull out PARKING BRAKE control (Figure 3, Item 1) or apply service brake pedal (Figure 3, Item 2).
CAUTION
Both trailer bumper points must be under vehicle bumper stop flange and at least one
bumper point must contact bumper stop. Trailer bumper point not contacting vehicle
bumper stop cannot exceed 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) or IBC will miss main rail guides. Failure
to comply may result in damage to equipment.
Do no use R (reverse) to back up vehicle while hook arm is attached to IBC bail bar.
Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
15.
Ensure trailer bumper (Figure 4, Item 15) is under flange of vehicle bumper stop (Figure 4, Item 16).
