( 7 ) Move to the rear of the craft and locate the two-isolator clamps stowed in their
small pouches, port and starboard. They are secured with a black cord tether
to prevent loss.
( 8 ) Look carefully at the black elbow-shaped hose that has one end connected to
the lower buoyancy tube and one to the main buoyancy tube. The correct
position for the clamps is in the center of the straight portion of the hoses below
( 9 ) Take the isolator clamp and place it on the lower section of the hose halfway
between the elbow and the lower buoyancy tube. Tighten the clamp firmly by
hand until secure and the hose is pinched flat. This operation must be
performed on both hoses.
