d. Lower Buoyancy Tube Inflation Hose Fitting Base Nuts. Gently tighten the four
fittings two port, two starboard-where the black, elbow-shaped hoses connect to the upper and lower
buoyancy tubes aft of the transom. Use the collar nut spanner as shown in Figure 2-8. Do not
over-tighten.

e. CO2 Overpressure Valve. The CO2 overpressure valves are located on the inboard surface
of the main buoyancy tubes. They can be identified by their circular mesh faces as shown in Figure 2-9.
Carefully tighten the five CO2 overpressure valves using the plastic socket wrench. Tighten manually. Do
not insert a wrench handle in the plastic socket.
