integrity, wear protection, and resistance to deterioration due to environmental influences. The buoyancy
tube is divided into five separate airtight chambers by a baffle system. This displacement-type, large
volume, floating baffle system provides the flexibility to withstand high-pressure differentials due to
extreme temperature changes or rapid deflation due to puncturing. If one air chamber is completely
destroyed, the remaining air chambers continue to function due to this internal baffle system. The main
buoyancy tube provides primary flotation and forms the basic inflatable structure to which the other
functional parts and accessories are attached. The main buoyancy tube is divided into 5 airtight
chambers.
