( 9 ) Referring to figure 7-28, cut a ringshaped patch from hypalon neoprene fabric.
The patch must be large enough to allow the fabric to extend at least one inch
onto the buoyancy tube. The hole in the center of the patch should be 1- 7/16
inch in diameter.

( 10 ) Position the ringshaped patch on the craft and trace around it with a
silver pen. Scuff the patch, the neoprene valve insert base to which the
patch is to be glued, and the craft. Remove all dust. Tape around the
area.
