( 6 ) Do not use the glue provided with the hose kit. The hoses are not to be glued.
( 7 ) Orient the hose so that it is properly aligned with the upper and lower hose
barbs. Slide the hose over the hose barbs. Align the hose by twisting clockwise
only to avoid loosening the hose barb. The hose should be aligned so that no
kinks exist.
( 8 ) Install nylon cable tying straps over the hoses where they cover the hose
barbs. Using pliers pull them very tight and cut off the excess length. Check the
straps where they were cut for sharp edges. File any sharp edges.
NOTE:
Four 6 to 8-inch long nylon electrical cable tying straps (TY-WRAP) are required.
An ultraviolet resistant outdoor type such as SPC Technology Inc., VRT-11M, is
recommended.
