( 2 ) Make an incision in the fabric as shown in figure 7-24.
( 3 ) While holding the base of the valve through the incision, remove the CO2 hose
coupling using an adjustable wrench.
( 4 ) While holding the valve base through the incision, completely remove the valve
base nut. Exercise care not to drop the valve base into the buoyancy tube.
( 5 ) Remove the valve base through the incision.
( 6 ) Prepare to install a new valve base. Use a new large neoprene valve base gasket.
The washer must be pressed flat on the valve base flange before installation
