a. Aft Lifting Points. (Figure 3-12) The two aft lifting points are installed on the transom. On a new
craft the lifting fittings are not installed. They are stowed in the repair kit. To lift the craft, the coupling fittings
on the lifting sling are attached to the aft lifting points and two forward lifting points installed in the thrustboard.
All hardware is 316 stainless steel.

b.  Self-bailers. (Figure 3-13) The self-bailers are located on the lower part of the transom. The
function of the two self-bailers is to let water out of the craft while it s underway by gravity, and to prevent water
from entering when the craft is not underway.
c.  Anti-splash Triangles. (Figure 3-13) The anti-splash triangles are made of neoprene coated
fabric and are attached to the aft sides of the transom and main buoyancy tubes. Their purpose is to prevent
water from spraying into the craft from propeller induced turbulence and stern wake.
