OPERATION
WARNING
Check for overhead power lines or other obstructions before attempting LHS operation.
LHS reaches a height of 20 feet (6.1 m) with IBC. Failure to comply may result in serious
injury or death to personnel.
Prior to and during any load or unload cycle, all personnel should stay clear of LHS and
IBC. Failure to comply may result in serious injury or death to personnel.
Trailer wheels must be chocked during transfer operation. Failure to comply may result
in serious injury or death to personnel.
Check ground condition for firmness and extreme sideways inclination before picking up
or off-loading a IBC. Any ground instability beneath tires may result in serious injury or
death to personnel.
CAUTION
Removable skid plate must be installed in stowage position (WP 0018). Failure to comply
may result in damage to equipment.
Ensure trailer drawbar is down against ground during transfer operation. Refer to TM
9-2330-385-10. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
Ensure air lines and cables are properly stowed. Refer to TM 9-2330-385-10. Failure to
comply may result in damage to equipment.
There must be sufficient air pressure in trailer air system to retract locks or damage to
IBC locking tabs can occur while attempting to remove IBC from trailer. If air pressure is
not sufficient, use vehicle to charge trailer air system using trailer air charging hose. If air
system cannot retract locks, use manual lock retract procedure. Refer to TM
9-2330-385-10.

Push in on knob (Figure 1, Item 1) on trailer to retract locks (Figure 1, Item 2).
