( 12 ) When the valve is properly reground, remove all rubbing compound and grease
pencil marks by wiping with a lint-free towel dampened in toluene.
( 13 ) Lubricate and reassemble the intercommunicating valve as described in
c. Replace Intercommunicating Valve Stud. This corrective maintenance procedure is
performed by direct support personnel. The stud in the center of the intercommunicating valve female
body is intended to remain in place; however, sometimes the stud will turn out of its position as the
